SUMMARY:Te Rīpeka Pūāwai | Te Moananui-ā-Kiwa Study Pilgrimage
DESCRIPTION:Te Rīpeka Pūāwai | Te Moananui-ā-Kiwa Study Pilgrimage\nTe Rīpeka Pūāwai | The Lotus and the Cross: Te Moananui-a-Kiwa Study Pilgrimage is a spiritual fononga and study tour of the Province of Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui (HKSKH). This haerenga will explore the history of Christianity and Anglicanism in Hong Kong and Macau\, from the arrival of the Rongopai\, to the establishment of the Anglican Church\, through to the expansion of Anglican missions and ministries into the present making connections between shared colonial histories and indigenous expressions of being Anglican. \nThis course is tailored to\, and space is offered exclusively for\, students from Aotearoa-NZ and Polinisia. This gives us the freedom to direct and deliver all lotu (services at significant sites and a daily rhythm of prayer) and wānanga akoranga (daily lessons and reflections on our own learning and experience) during the haerenga in our own lea fakafonua (language)\, that is\, from our own home contexts.

SUMMARY:Palestine of Ihu Study Pilgrimage
DESCRIPTION:Israel / Palestine | Study Pilgrimage\nThe Palestine of Ihu Pilgrimage is a spiritual haerenga and study tour of Iharaira and Parihitini that focuses on the narrative of the Rongopai and the key events surrounding the oranga\, matenga\, and aranga anō of Ihu Karaiti. \nThe haerenga on the ground is lead by Qumri Pilgrimages\, based out of St George’s Cathedral Pilgrim Guest House and the Sisters of Narareth Guest House; Qumri have been providing study pilgrimages to Anglican and Episcopal groups for over 25 years. \nParticipants in this study tour will hear from guest speakers focusing on contemporary issues in Iharaira Parihitini from Palestinian Christian\, Muslim\, Jewish and Ecumenical perspectives at wāhi tapu throughout the land.
