Rūmaki Karakia | Karakia o Te Ata, o Te Pō

Karakia o Te Ata, o Te Pō | Tūranganui-ā-Kiwa
Rūmaki Karakia are intensive 2-3 day residential noho providing an immersion experience for formation in Theology, Karakia, Mihinaretanga, and Ministry Practice.
Celebrated respectively in the morning and the late afternoon or evening, Karakia o Te Ata, o Te Pō (Morning and Evening Prayer) blesses the natural turning points of the day and realises the presence of Te Atua at its beginning and close. These karakia form the foundation of an understanding and practice of Tikanga Karakia in Te Hāhi Mihinare and, with our minita required to recite these offices daily, they are essential learning for anyone called to minister to and pray with our people.
Rūmaki Karakia are aimed at Kaikarakia and those accepted into training to become Kaikarakia but are open on a case-by-case basis to all minita in Te Tairāwhiti.
